'Stevie' shoes c/o Rainbow Club
Satin shoes are inherently bridal, but they can totally work as daywear, too. When Rainbow Club asked me if I'd like to try a style from their range, I picked this fabulous flat 'Stevie' pair complete with glitter trim. However, they were just asking to be custom-dyed; ivory flat shoes aren't the most practical, are they!
Rainbow Club can custom dye your shoes to literally any colour. The British brand have designed a huge range of heels and pumps that can be coloured to any shade you like, meaning that you can coordinate with your handbag, lipstick, dress, heck, even your car exactly, should you desire! Whether it's a nail varnish shade, Pantone colour of the season or a Farrow and Ball paint shade that has your heart, Rainbow Club can translate it straight on to your feet!
I chose this gorgeous navy blue (which looks a little more sapphire in the photos) as I felt it would work really well with lots of my favourite summer clothes. I love navy blue and, since I wear black a lot, it felt like a good idea to try something with a little more colour on it for my footwear! The shoes fit beautifully in my usual size and they are comfortable and easy to wear, and the dye has been expertly applied so you would think that they had been made in the colour.
The bespoke colour customisation service is available nationwide at John Lewis and costs £25 with the purchase of any Rainbow Club shoes. The difficult part is choosing the colour!
