Years ago I used to work for a surf company and Billabong was not a brand I would have particularly shopped. The bright colours, garish prints and enormous logos plastered over every garment were just not my style and I much prefered the muted tones and whispered branding of the Quiksilver Women's line, which has unfortunately now ceased to exist.
Shopping for some summer culottes over on ASOS, I was surprised to find the most lovely pair by Billabong, a brand that I'd not given a second thought to for years. On closer inspection, I found a few lovely styles on the site. Made beautifully, with discreet branding and muted prints, they have really moved on with the times and embraced that surf culture and fashion have collaborated more fully into the mainstream.
