Wearing: Dress c/o Bows Boutiques, Primark sandals (old - similar here) Urban Outfitters jacket (old - similar here)
I spent last week enjoying a wonderful break in the sunshine in Marbella, and I've got a few outfit posts and holiday posts to come in which I'll talk about it a little more, but the difference in temperature from there to the UK is insane. After wearing shorts and dresses for a week it's been a shock to have to reach for a jacket again, but now that I have a bit of a tan I am not keen to put my jeans back on!
I was sent this gorgeous printed dress from Bows Boutiques, a fashion retailer who has a strong online presence as well as stores in Hertfordshire and Essex. I wish it had arrived before I went on holiday as I think I would have worn it consto - it's so pretty, lightweight and easy to style. It has a bardot, off the shoulder style neckline, and whilst it's unlike me to choose a coloured garment, particularly red, the ditsy print on this dress mutes the colour somewhat. I love the vintage style of the fabric and I toughened it up with my leather jacket and studded sandals, which are a dupe of the Valentino rockstud sandals that I've coveted for ages (not the £600 plus price tag though)
I'm hoping now that I've had a bit of sunshine, the rest of the summer will be pleasant, too - In my mind it's still early doors (well, early-ish!) so hopefully there will be a few months of sunshine still to come. Ideally the jacket can go back in the cupboard!
XO Amie
