Belledorm at Rooi

Shopping for sheets isn't exactly the most fun pasttime, but they are a necessity and so when online luxury living brand Rooi got in touch, it was a great opportunity to update some of my bedding. I have a couple of duvet covers that I use in rotation (this one is from H&M) but my sheets and pillowcases were looking a little (mind the pun) tired!

I chose a couple of fitted white sheets which I knew would work with both my duvet sets and matching white secondary pillow cases by the brand Belledorm at Rooi. I prefer fitted sheets because they make the bed so much easier to make and they don't wrinkle or come untucked like flat sheets can. The Belledorm ones are priced at £16.95 each for a double, which is really very reasonable - they are made from 200 thread count polycotton which stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter, is durable and washes well. The pillowcases cost just £4.95 each and all of the products arrived beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and packed sturdily.

Being comfortable and able to sleep easily is so important and I am currently considering updating my mattress, too. We've had our current one for 5 years so it would probably make sense to update it soon - you spend so much of your time asleep (approximately a third of your life!) that it pays to be relaxed and able to get the best night's sleep you can.
