Wearing: Christmas jumper c/o Boohoo // ASOS beret // Topshop jeans // New Look boots
I haven't really been feeling all that festive this Christmas so far. I think because we're still sorting out the flat after moving, and also as part of my job I've been working on Christmas since July, it's lost its edge a little bit. However, today I bought the tree and also wrapped some presents and so actually I am feeling more in the spirit of things now!
Of course, the easiest way to feel festive is to don a Christmas jumper, and this one from Boohoo references a much loved Christmas film - Home Alone. It's such a feel good movie and makes the perfect backdrop to an afternoon of present wrapping and tree decorating. I love the colour of this jumper - the bottle green is muted enough that it doesn't feel overly novelty and I sized up to get a nice slouchy fit (who wants a tight jumper?!)
To me, Christmas is all about spending time with family, taking a few days to relax and unwind, enjoying lots of good food and chilling out watching great Christmas telly. I love to get dressed up if I am going out, but if I'm going to be having a chilled day or night in, I love being cosy and comfy, so my staple outfit would definitely consist of jeans and a slouchy knit - festive-themed, of course! Another fantastic reason to pick up a Christmas jumper from Boohoo is that they are donating £5 to the Teenage Cancer Trust from the sale of selected styles, so you can look festive and help others at the same time! You can shop the full range here.
