Wearing: ASOS blouse (here) Vintage sunnies (similar here) Zara jeans (similar here) New Look sliders (here)
I've bought hardly anything for my 'summer wardrobe' and instead I've been re-wearing the things I bought last year and the year before that. There have been a few updates; a couple of pairs of favourite trousers were probably past the point of no return so they have been replaced and I have also bought a handful of new tops - this one from ASOS is a current favourite.
The struggle has been real trying to replace well - loved items; I really prefer to wear natural fibres where I can and it's so difficult to find the right cut and/or fit of those things I've been looking for to fit the bill. I was looking for a pair of linen trousers for the longest time, I knew exactly what I wanted but it took me months to finally find something near suitable. Likewise, I was looking for a white cotton blouse (not a button up) for ages too, so when I spotted this one on ASOS I snapped it up.
Shoes weren't something I really needed this season either, although my go-to pair of black flat sandals had pretty much worn out after a good 3 summers of wear so I replaced them with this New Look pair. I never do this, but I am considering re-buying them again to keep a pair for when this pair inevitably wear out! Perhaps I'll keep an eye out in the sales.
XO Amie
