Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation // Collection 24 Hour Eyeliner // Topshop lip bullet
Just to break up the slew of Summer 10 x 10 looks I've been posting of late, I thought it would be nice to include a brief post about some makeup purchases I've been enjoying recently. I was in need of a new foundation, as I was not only almost out of my beloved Dr Jart (which has now been discontinued - help! I write about it more here) but it was also a bit light in colour with my summer tan.
I picked up this Collection Lasting Perfection Foundation in shade 3, warm beige, which is fair enough not to be orange and the warmer tone works well with my skin colour. It was only £3.99 and I am really impressed with it; it's not the heaviest coverage which suits me as I'm used to using a BB cream, so it doesn't feel heavy and stays on all day.
I have raved on many an occasion about the Extreme 24 Hour Liner and honestly this is one of the best eyeliner pens I've ever used. It's really dark, creates a perfect flick and lasts for ages - doesn't smudge or flake. Plus its about £3. Winner!
The final makeup treat I have to share is this Lip Bullet from Topshop. This is a lovely creamy matte lipstick in a dusty pink shade which is perfectly wearable for everyday. I love the consistency and the moisturising effect it has and the packaging is so pretty. I haven't tried much Topshop makeup but I would try these Lip Bullets again for sure.
